Lucky Vegas is the latest new online casino from the SkillOnNet group, which also operates Slots Magic, Drueck Glueck and one of our favourites PlayOjo. The new site follows hot on the heels of the launch of Bacana Play and the two share unmistakable similarities (more on those later). Although the site’s name pays tribute to the gambling capital of the world, don’t expect too much Las Vegas imagery. Beyond the name and the odd banner promoting a bonus, there isn’t much of that. But the site is bright, well-structured and directs players to a great selection of online games and an impressive live casino. Lucky Vegas arrives on the crowded casino scene with impressive credentials, but does it have what it takes to compete with established sites?

Lucky Vegas Casino Review

I mentioned the similarities between Lucky Vegas and Bacana Play in my introduction. I recently reviewed the latter for this site, so it was easy to draw a comparison. As soon as I registered with Lucky Vegas, I couldn’t ignore a strong sense of deja vu. And when I opened the two online casinos alongside each other, I could see why. SkillOnNet’s design teams have used the same basic template for the two sites. This means both the top and side menus are identical, while the games grid contain the same options as well. The colour schemes are different at least, with Lucky Vegas adopting a deep purple and pink scheme, in contrast to its sister site’s orange and white. At least they’ve used a good template though!

The promotions page is well rendered, for example. You can flick through a set of simple cards which contain necessary information about the promotions offered. You can even see how other players have rated the offer. When you click on the card, you’re taken to a more detailed page which explains the nature of the bonus or tournament in full. Terms are explained via a separate link in plain English and large font. This all leaves a good impression.

The game’s grid is also well arranged into sensible sections. That said, I would prefer a few lower-level filtering options within the main sections like ‘slots’. I’m the sort of player who likes to browse by ‘provider’ for example. The website is responsive to different screen sizes; I tested it on an Android mobile, a 15-inch laptop screen and a widescreen monitor. It looks best on a laptop in my opinion, although good too on mobile. You lose some of the attractive animated visuals on the wider screen, but it still looks good.

Lucky Vegas Registration

Registering with Lucky Vegas is as straightforward as you’d hope. You simply punch in your name, address and DOB, set up a password, answer a security question and away you go. You don’t need to verify your account before you start playing. I was booted out of my session soon after completing registration, but I’m unsure whether that was for security purposes or a glitch in the matrix.

I should say that I did have a bit of a job picking a username too. I was told that my three favourite usernames were taken. I think it’s because I’m registered with other casinos in the SkillOnNet group elsewhere, it seems unlikely all three would have been taken by others, but I could be wrong.

I like that LuckyVegas promote responsible gaming through regular pop up reminders about session length. You can also set limits from the ‘Personal Area’ section of the site (I still think ‘Personal Area’ is a bit of a weird name for the ‘My Account’ section, but I’ve covered that in the Bacana review! When you’re ready to make your first deposit, look for the cashier’s section featuring a clear selection of thumbnails pointing to the various supported payment options available.

Lucky Vegas Bonus

Lucky Vegas reward new players with a signup bonus. They also run regular promotions for returning members and lots of different tournaments which allow you to pit your wits against fellow gamblers. You can access the promotions through the side menu (it’s a burger menu on mobile) or the small ‘gift’ icon in the top bar. That’s when you can start flicking through the different promotions card that I mentioned in the ‘Lucky Vegas Casino Review’ section of this review.

The Lucky Vegas Bonus is a juicy 100% up to £50 with 25 free spins on Book of the Dead.

Lucky Vegas No Deposit Bonus

You don’t currently receive a no deposit bonus or free spins no deposit at Lucky Vegas. This means you need to pay money into your account before you pick up any extras. We’ll update this review if this changes.

Lucky Vegas Welcome Offer

The absence of no deposit free spins means that your first deposit triggers the LuckyVegas welcome offer package. You then get a 100% cash match bonus up to a maximum of £50 in addition to 25 free spins on popular Play n’ Go slot Book of Dead. The max bonus amount is a little bit stingy for those of you with deeper pockets, but the bonus is sufficient enough to allow you to get to know the casino and its games a little bit better. Wagering requirements of x30 and x60 apply to the cash bonus and free spins winnings respectively. Wagering is calculated against the value of your deposit and bonus combined. Always read the terms and conditions carefully, I’ll summarise them in full later in this review.

Lucky Vegas Free Spins

Beyond the 25 free spins, you receive automatically as part of the signup offer, and you will receive other offers as a regular player. If you opt-in for updates by email or phone, Lucky Vegas will let you know when new opportunities present themselves. Another way you can sniff out some extra spins is by participating in tournaments. New ones start every couple of hours, and the prize pots often contain free spins as well as bonus cash.

Lucky Vegas Terms & Conditions

Different terms are attached to varying promotions at Lucky Vegas. As such, always check the specific conditions of each offer. To secure the welcome bonus, you have to deposit at least £10. You have to use the free spins before the cash bonus and will be directed to do so. The free spins are credited at the minimum value of £0.10 per bet on Book of Dead, and you will need to play through any winnings 60 times before you can withdraw them.

You will need to play through the value of your deposit, and cash bonus combined 30 times before withdrawing any additional money you win. You can only claim the bonus once every 72 hours across all casinos. In other words, if you sign up at Bacana Play and use the welcome bonus there, you need to wait three days before doing the same at Lucky Vegas.

Lucky Vegas Games

The size of the Lucky Vegas games collection is impressive. This is one advantage of joining a new casino that’s part of a bigger stable. Skill On Net has a relationship with most of the biggest software suppliers in the industry, as well as lots of boutique designers too. Hence, you have access to a huge range of slots, table games and scratch cards when you play. They’ve launched with a massive live dealer casino too.

Lucky Vegas Slots

The popularity of video slots remains as strong as ever. Studios continue to release new ones weekly and Lucky Vegas stocks over a thousand of them! Gravitate towards the ‘Popular Games’ section if you want to see what’s trending on site. After a bit of digging, I also found a way of filtering by provider – something I always like to do. I won’t lie, that’s partly because it helps a busy reviewer see what a site offers! To use the filter, click search and you’ll see a ‘Providers’ option next to the bar. It’s also a good chance for Lucky Vegas to show off their impressive partnerships.

Industry giants Microgaming, NetEnt and Play N’ Go contribute more than 300 games between them. In contrast, you can play just a single game from the likes of Rabcat (Mining Fever) and Foxium (the ultra-fun Stumpy McNoodles). Red Tiger, NYX and Pragmatic each lend over 100 of their games to party too. Overall, there are more than 1000 slots available to play. If you like to spin the reels in search of those all-important matching symbols, you won’t lack for choice here.

Lucky Vegas Jackpot Slots

Lucky Vegas also includes a number of jackpot slots which offer potentially bigger wins. These include a handful of network progressive jackpots like IGT’s Mega Jackpots and Net Entertainment’s Mega Fortune. Most of the collection is reserved for games which share daily jackpots between all SkillOnNet casinos though. These ‘local’ jackpot games typically offer five-figure payouts but your chances of winning them, though still small of course, are much better than your face with the network progressives which are available at all online casinos.

Lucky Vegas Live Casino

If you like to spend your gambling time playing live dealer games by video link-up, then Lucky Vegas is a fantastic choice. They’ve recruited some chirpy characters to host action across a massive selection of roulette, baccarat, blackjack and poker games. They support over 60 live games from Evolution alone, but you’ll find most of the rooms are busy enough to hold your attention. Unique live games like Monopoly are incorporated too. Not many newly launched sites can provide this sort of coverage.

Lucky Vegas Customer Support

Players can contact the customer service team by either chat or email. They don’t currently work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but it does run between the hours of 6 am and midnight. I contacted the team via live chat to ask a question about a bonus. I received a greeting within 1 minute. The agent then asked for my username but directed me to the Daily Picks promotions page to find the answer rather than tell me himself. However, he did then offer me 10 free spins no deposit to ‘try my luck’ so that was a nice touch. The agent was friendly and clear, leaving a positive impression. I’m a bit annoyed that there’s no link to customer support from the home page or games grid though, you have to access it via the main menu or ‘personal area’.

Lucky Vegas UK Casino

Lucky Vegas holds a license from the UK Gambling Commission, so players in the United Kingdom can play. The Malta Gaming Authority also licenses them. These are the two most prestigious licenses in Europe and a proper stamp of approval. Lucky Vegas’s promotion of fair and responsible gaming is a reliable indicator of their attitude towards gambling too, and there’s no questioning the integrity of their software partners. It’s a legitimate site that has been heavily vetted for safety and security so you can play with comfort.

Lucky Vegas Payment Methods

UK players can deposit using Visa debit, Mastercard. Trustly, Paypal, Paysafecard, Much Better or Sofort. Players from other territories can use Neteller, Skrill and various local options too. Withdrawal options are limited to debit card, bank transfer and Trustly in the UK. The latter is quickest and will usually secure your funds within 24 hours. Bank transfers can take up to a week, but that’s just industry standard. Lucky Vegas’s payout performance is comparable to other sites.

Lucky Vegas Summary

Lucky Vegas is another solid addition to the SkillOnNet portfolio. It offers a variety of games on a modern platform with an excellent attached live casino. Customer support acted swiftly to respond to my query and even provided me with an additional bonus. Their sign up offer is modest but enough to get you started. It’s a shame that the design team didn’t diverge the layout of the site from others in the group to render it a little more original and create some stronger branding. But we understand why that’s impractical, and at least they’ve used a winning formula! Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Lucky Vegas and found plenty to like.
