I’m a sucker for a good pun, so Miami Dice was onto a winner from the start. The new online casino pays homage Miami Vice, the classic detective show starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas as Crockett and Suggs. It’s a faithful tribute too. From the logo to the bight pastel colours of the site’s design, Miami Dice is so unapologetically 80s that you half expect a Frankie Goes to Hollywood song to start playing when you load a game. The site’s design is likely to prove divisive. Some will love it; some might well hate it. But given the renewed interest in the decade (I see plenty of bleach washed jeans and pop socks around East London every day), it’s a clever theme for a new online casino. I’d take it over the identikit designs over many of the new sites which pop up almost weekly. However, a stylish veneer is wasted without a strong core. So can Miami Dice deliver elsewhere?
Miami Dice Casino Bonus
If the team behind the brand want to prove that Miami Dice is more than just an 80s tribute act, they make a good start with their welcome bonus. As you settle in as a regular player, you can also accumulate points which contribute to a considerable loyalty scheme. Although there are no recurring bonuses at the time of writing, Miami Dice also offers players the opportunity to pick up ad hoc bonuses and participate in prize draws and raffles. At the time of writing, (under Covid-19 lockdown admittedly, so I’m a little worried about how the prize will work), you can enter a competition to win a holiday to Miami itself.
Miami Dice Casino No Deposit Bonus
Miami Dice doesn’t currently offer a no deposit bonus, be it cash or no deposit free spins. This means you need to credit your account before you receive any rewards. While that will inevitably disappoint those of you who like to try before you buy, they have absolutely loaded their first deposit offer to make up for the lack of a no deposit sweetener.
Miami Dice Welcome Offer
Indeed, the full Miami Dice sign up offer consists of three different types of reward spread across your first three deposits. When you make your first deposit, you get a 100% cash match bonus up to £300 in return, instantly doubling the amount you have to play. In addition to the money bonus, they also give you 50 free spins on NetEnt’s classic Starburst slot. Even more, free spins accompany your 2nd payment. Here, you receive a mammoth 100 bonus spins on Gonzo’s Quest as well as 50% match bonus up to £500. Finally, your 3rd Miami Dice deposit is worth one final 75% bonus in addition to another 50 spins, this time on the Hawaiian themed Aloha! Cluster Pays. Here’s the full run down of the bonus in bullets for you:
- 1st Deposit – 100% match bonus up to £300 and 50 free spins on Starburst
- 2nd Deposit – 50% match bonus up to £500 and 100 free spins on Gonzo’s Quest
- 3rd Deposit – 75% match bonus up to £500 and 50 free spins on Aloha! Cluster Pays
So that’s a total of 200 free spins for everyone who deposits at least £20 (the minimum accepted by Miami Dice) and up to £1300 in bonus cash. Of course, you will only receive that skyscraping figure if you have particularly deep pockets. Terms & conditions apply, we’ve summarised the most important below.
Miami Dice Bonus Code
You don’t need to use a voucher or coupon to collect the welcome bonus. Simply make your deposit, opt-in, and both the bonus and extra spins will be yours. I can’t find much evidence of Miami Dice bonus codes around the web but they aren’t averse to offering them. How do I know? Well, they included an entire, standalone ‘Bonus Code’ section in their main menu! You can probably expect to receive bonus codes as part of email and text promotions over time, although I haven’t had any since I registered (yet).
Miami Dice Casino Bonus Terms & Conditions
You’re required to deposit a minimum of £20 with each deposit so you can claim your cash bonuses and free spins. Any winnings generated from the spins are credited as bonus money, no real money, which means you need to fulfil x35 wagering requirements before you can withdraw them. The wagering is applied to the combined value of your deposit and bonus. So, if you deposit £100 and receive £100 as a bonus, you will need to wager £3500 before collecting any associated winnings.
The most you can bet with your bonus funds is £5 on an individual stake, and you will lose any bonus funds you have not wagered after 30 days. The maximum you are permitted to win from your bonus spins is £100, and those winnings are also subject to wagering restrictions.
Every bonus is accompanied by its own set of terms and conditions. You should always read those terms before take up a bonus, particularly a casino asks you to part with cash.
Miami Dice Review
The Miami Vice homage is, without doubt, the most distinctive feature of the casino’s website. As I said at the outset of the review, I can see why some might find it a bit much. The pastel pinks, cyans, lime greens and peaches won’t be for all of you. Some may even question whether they contravene the UKGC’s directives against cartoon style casinos which may attract children, but I think it’s fine on that score. An 80s theme, though colourful, is hardly the first subject matter a teenage would pinpoint as attractive. Miami Dice adopts a cohesive them right down to its menu icons (Don Johnson style sunglasses, a neon flamingo silhouette) and it makes for a memorable online casino experience.
The website is easy to use on both desktop and mobile. The registration process is possibly the shortest I have ever experience and took less than a minute to complete. The homepage design is quite busy but built with one-click access in mind. You can click on an envelope icon to view your messages, which often relate to bonuses, and a single side menu provides access to games, support, promotions and your account. There’s a single-click link to the cashier section where you can deposit and withdraw money too. A scrolling list of winners is a little more distracting (I never see the point of these but maybe some players like them). Overall, however, I like the design of this site. It’s both fun and user-friendly, and that’s pretty much all you need.
Miami Dice Games
Miami Dice’s significant collection of games include a wide range of slots, table games, poker variants and scratchcards. You can filter by provider, which always gets a thumbs up from us, and view the latest releases in the New Games section. I did experience a few issues using the filtering system on my 15-inch laptop because the list of software suppliers opens in an overlay and I couldn’t scroll through it because the active scroll bar controlled the games grid which sat in the background. It worked fine on mobile oddly enough. It’s a bit annoying on desktop though, not least because Miami Dice can really show off here. They have loads of games from loads of studios. From the popular giants (Netent, MicroGaming, NYX) to the fledgeling boutiques (Foxium, Crazy Tooth, Neon Gaming).
There are hundreds of video slots to choose from including a whopping 48 jackpot slots. Most of those are local jackpot games but you’ll find a smattering of network, millionaire-making jackpot games like Mega Moolah, Hall of Gods and Wheel of Wishes there too. Away from slots, there is a fine selection of roulette, blackjack and baccarat games from a host of providers. If scratchcards float your boat, you can fill your boots on about a dozen or so of them. It is an impressive games grid for a relative newcomer (the site launched in 2016). But then it is managed by the White Hat Gaming group, which looks after loads of casinos and has partnerships with all the best providers as a result.
Miami Dice Live Casino
In addition to all the virtual, video action, you can have a pop at some live dealer games at Miami Dice as well. These aim to recreate the experience of a real-life, bricks and mortar casino as closely as possible, which is why a lot of seasoned gamers enjoy them so much. As is so often the case, Evolution Gaming and NetEnt supply most of the action here. Their flagship roulette and blackjack games remain popular options, while Monopoly and Dragon Tiger add something a little different. You can expect the odd, specific live casino bonus and your welcome offers are accepted on live games too.
Miami Dice UK Licence
Miami Dice is another in a long line of online casinos operated from the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta. The hugely respected Malta Gaming Authority licenses them, and their customer service team is based out there too. However, they have also secured an additional licence from the UK Gambling Commission, a body renowned for its stringent scrutiny of online casinos. The United Kingdom is a regulated market so British players can only play at a casino with a UK licence. Good news for Brits who enjoy a bit of 80s subculture as well gambling then! Most importantly, the presence of these licences is a solid guarantee of Miami Dice’s commitment to fair play and providing a safe, secure environment for its members.
Miami Dice Casino Customer Service
You can’t pick up the telephone and speak to the Miami Dice customer support team because they don’t have a line. But then who uses the phone for that sort of caper these days anyway, especially in the online casino world. Most importantly, live chat is available 24/7. I tested it out and received a response within 30 seconds from a knowledgeable, friendly agent, leaving with no complaints whatsoever. If you prefer, you can also email Miami Dice for support and they address some common queries on their website.
Miami Dice Deposits and Withdrawals
UK players can pay money into their account using Visa, Mastercard, Trustly or Bank Transfer. Players from other jurisdictions can use other online methods like Neteller, Skrill and Sofort too. Miami Dice accept withdrawal requests using broadly the same methods too. They process requests within hours but you can expect to wait longer to receive your money if you request a withdrawal to a debit card of through a bank transfer. For fast withdrawals, go for an eWallet or online payment method if possible! We’ve had a shufty around the internet and players seem broadly satisfied with the casino’s cashier system aside from the odd very specific complaint.
Miami Dice Summary
I’ve enjoyed spinning a few slots at Miami Dice. My first impressions of this online casino were positive and that initial opinion has stood up to scrutiny. Sure, the design of the site is probably a bit Marmite. But it’s better to be loved and hated in equal measure than not noticed at all. Casino-by-numbers designs are far more bland and boring. There is a generous welcome bonus for new players and a steady stream of additional offers for existing ones. The loyalty scheme rewards repeated play, although you may find that progress through the ranks is slower than you’d like, despite the 50 loyalty points you receive when you make your first payment. The games selection is also rich and varied so there isn’t much a didn’t like. This is one online casino that I’ll remember, and I expect to find myself back at Miami Dice again.
